There was a North Eastern Science Fair, conducted at National Science Fair Guwahati from 07.01.2025 to 10.01.2025.

St. Francis' School, Jorethang, represented the State of Sikkim and was able to secure the third position in entire North East India, in this Science Fair.

St. Francis' School, extend heartfelt gratitude to Our Honourable Chief Minister of our State, Mr. Prem Singh Tamang for giving this incredible opportunity and amazing platform to showcase the innovative talents of our students. Ruth Rai and Khanak Agarwal of class 10 represented St. Francis' School from the land of one brother witnessing and showcasing God given talents among the future stars of the land of Seven Sisters.

Guwahati State Science Centre was enthralled with rich innovative talents put up in 42 different stalls.

The first place was taken by the state of Tripura.

St. Francis' School, Jorethang was established in the year 1979. It was running up to class X (ICSE). Now, the school is upgraded to class XII (ISC), from the academic year 2025. The Upgradation Certificate has been issued on 17.01.2025 from the Education Department, Gangtok. 

St. Francis’ School feels honoured as the Education Department of Sikkim, acknowledges the contribution of this prestigious institution in the field of Education and having the confidence on every effort that St. Francis’ School makes in providing opportunities and platforms for the future generation.
